Contact MinervaDB with the engine, the symptom and the business impact, and we come back with a named engineer and a proposed next step, not a brochure.
What happens after you contact MinervaDB
Every request is triaged by a database engineer, never by a sales queue. Within one business day for consulting inquiries, and within the severity window for support customers, you hear back from someone who has already read your message and looked at the engine and version you named.
Response commitments for support customers
| Severity | Definition | Response |
|---|---|---|
| S1 | Production down or data at risk | 15 minutes, 24×7×365 |

What to include in your message
- Database engine and exact version (for example PostgreSQL 16.4, MySQL 8.4 LTS, SQL Server 2022, MongoDB 7.0).
- Deployment model: self-managed, Kubernetes, or a cloud DBaaS such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL or Cloud SQL.
- The symptom in measurable terms: p95 latency, replication lag, error rate, failed backup, storage growth.
- Business impact and the time window you are working against.
- Whether you need a one-time engagement, a 24×7 consultative support contract, or remote DBA coverage.
Please do not send credentials.
We never ask for passwords, keys or connection strings by email or form. Access is arranged through your own bastion, VPN or IAM roles once an agreement is in place.
Locations
MinervaDB Corporation operates as a fully distributed organisation, maintaining a remote-only workforce across more than eight U.S. states and multiple international jurisdictions. This global presence enables continuous, round-the-clock support for clients requiring optimal, scalable, highly reliable, and secure database infrastructure operations.
In practice this means that when you contact MinervaDB at 3 a.m. in New York, the engineer who answers is in the middle of their working day. Follow-the-sun coverage is built into how the company is staffed, not bolted on as an on-call rota, and onsite engagements are delivered in 46 cities through the same distributed team. If you need an engineer in the room for a migration cutover, a data-centre move or an architecture workshop, contact MinervaDB with the city and the dates and we confirm availability within one business day.

Core Database Technologies Supported
Contact MinervaDB about any engine below. Each one is backed by engineers who have run it in production at scale, and each links to its project site or to our dedicated service page.
Relational Databases
NoSQL & Specialized Systems
Analytics & Big Data
Cloud Database Platforms
Multi-Cloud DBaaS Support: managed services change what you can tune and what you cannot, so contact MinervaDB before you assume a parameter is out of reach. We know where each platform diverges from its open-source engine.
Service Areas
MinervaDB’s engineering services focus on five critical pillars of database infrastructure:
Performance Optimization
Query tuning, indexing strategies, and system optimization
Scalability Engineering
Horizontal and vertical scaling solutions
High Availability
Clustering, replication, and disaster recovery
Data Reliability Engineering
Backup strategies, data integrity, and recovery procedures
Data Security
Access controls, encryption, and compliance frameworks
This comprehensive approach ensures organizations can leverage MinervaDB’s expertise for complete database lifecycle management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
You do not need to know which pillar your problem belongs to before you contact MinervaDB. A slow report is often a scalability question wearing a performance costume, and a failed restore test is a reliability problem before it is a backup problem. Describe the symptom; the engineer who answers maps it to the right pillar, and to the right engine specialist, on the first call.
Technology Focus – Vendor-neutral and independent
We sell engineering, not licences. When you contact MinervaDB you get a recommendation for the engine that fits the workload, including advice against a technology we would otherwise support.

What the first week looks like once you contact MinervaDB
A contact page should tell you what happens next, not just where to write, so here is what follows when you contact MinervaDB. This is the sequence we follow for every new consulting, support or remote DBA engagement.
Step 1: your message. The more measurable the first message, the faster the rest goes. An engine and exact version, a symptom expressed as a number (p95 latency, replication lag in seconds, failed backups per week, storage growth per month) and the business window you are working against let us put the right engineer on the call rather than a generalist who then has to hand you off.
Step 2: an engineer-led call. The first conversation is technical. A senior engineer for your engine joins prepared, walks through the symptom with you and agrees three things before anyone talks about commercials: the scope of the problem, its severity, and the delivery mode that fits it, which may be a one-time consulting engagement, a 24×7 consultative support contract or ongoing remote DBA coverage. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, or that a different technology fits the workload better, you hear that on the same call.
Step 3: agreement and access. A statement of work or support agreement follows, and access is arranged through your own bastion host, VPN or IAM roles. We never ask for passwords, keys or connection strings by email or form, and we treat every system as production and mission-critical unless you tell us otherwise, which means the blast radius and rollback path are written down before any change is proposed.
Step 4: baseline, then work. Before any recommendation, seven to fourteen days of telemetry are captured from the engine’s own views: pg_stat_statements and pg_stat_replication on PostgreSQL, performance_schema and SHOW ENGINE INNODB STATUS on MySQL and MariaDB, Query Store and wait statistics on Microsoft SQL Server, serverStatus and the profiler on MongoDB, system.query_log and system.parts on ClickHouse. Every change we then propose names the metric that justifies it, the current and proposed value, whether it needs a reload or a restart, and how it is rolled back. Recommendations are tested on a replica or staging clone before they reach production, and the same metrics are read again afterwards so the outcome is proven rather than assumed.
Frequently asked questions before you contact MinervaDB
How quickly will MinervaDB respond?
When support customers contact MinervaDB they are covered by the severity matrix above: Severity 1 within 15 minutes, Severity 2 within 12 hours, Severity 3 within 24 hours and Severity 4 within 48 hours, around the clock. New consulting inquiries sent to contact@minervadb.com are answered by an engineer within one business day.
I have a production outage right now. What is the fastest way to contact MinervaDB?
Call +1 (844) 588-7287. It is the fastest way to contact MinervaDB: the toll-free line is answered 24×7×365 and pages the on-duty engineer for your engine immediately. Send a parallel email to support@minervadb.com so the incident has a written record from the first minute.
Do you support cloud-managed databases such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL or Cloud SQL?
Yes. We support every major cloud DBaaS alongside self-managed deployments, and we are explicit about what a managed platform lets you change. Tell us the service and the region when you contact MinervaDB and we route the request to an engineer who works on that platform daily.
Can we talk to an engineer before signing anything?
Yes. The first conversation is always technical. Book an appointment or contact MinervaDB by email with your engine, version and symptom, and a senior engineer joins the call prepared. There is no obligation and no sales-only discovery call.
Which engines and versions do you cover?
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database and Exadata, IBM Db2 (LUW and z/OS), MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis and Valkey, Milvus, SAP HANA, ClickHouse and Trino, plus the cloud platforms listed on this page. We confirm the exact server version at the start of every engagement, because guidance for PostgreSQL 16 or MySQL 8.4 is not the same as for the release before it.
What does it cost to contact MinervaDB or to have the first call?
Nothing. When you contact MinervaDB, the first engineer-led call, the scoping conversation and any written proposal are free of charge. Commercial terms are only discussed once the scope and severity are clear, and you are never asked to commit to a retainer to get a technical answer to your first question.
Do you sign NDAs and work inside regulated environments?
Yes. We routinely work under mutual NDAs and inside environments governed by GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS and India’s DPDP Act. Access is granted through your own controls and revoked on your schedule, audit logging is left on, and customer data never leaves your VPC or data centre for analysis. Tell us the framework that applies when you contact MinervaDB and we scope the engagement to it from the start.
We are a ClickHouse or real-time analytics shop. Is MinervaDB the right contact?
ClickHouse consulting, 24×7 support and managed services are delivered by our sister company ChistaDATA on 100% open-source ClickHouse. Contact MinervaDB anyway if your estate mixes ClickHouse with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or a cloud warehouse; we route the ClickHouse work to ChistaDATA and keep one engineering owner for the whole estate.
Which time zones and languages do you cover?
All of them, continuously. Because the workforce is distributed across more than eight U.S. states and multiple international jurisdictions, coverage follows the sun rather than an on-call pager: the engineer who takes a Severity 1 at 03:00 Eastern is in the middle of their working day. Engagements are run in English, with engineers available across North American, European and Indian business hours for scheduled calls, maintenance windows and quarterly reviews.
Where is MinervaDB located and do you work onsite?
MinervaDB Inc. is headquartered at 440 N Barranca Ave #9718, Covina, CA 91723, with a Delaware office at PO Box 2093, Philadelphia Pike #3339, Claymont, DE 19703. Wherever you contact MinervaDB from, the team is remote-first across more than eight U.S. states and multiple international jurisdictions, and delivers onsite engagements in 46 cities.
